Because I'm one person with no office, no sales team and no account managers, and because I'm building a portfolio right now. The half-off price is tied to the launch roster. When it fills, the price goes back to standard.
Only if you choose the payment plan, and only for six months — $50/mo, then it stops and nothing else is owed. There is no ongoing fee to me either way. Hosting for a site this size is free on the platforms I use, and your domain is roughly $15 a year paid directly to the registrar in your own name. I don't take a cut of either.
Then we rebuild it and point your existing domain at the new one on launch day. Your current site stays up the whole time — nothing goes dark during the build.
