Terms of Service

Last updated 28 July 2026

These are the terms we work under. They're written to be read, not to hide anything — if something here doesn't match what we agreed on a call, what we agreed on the call is what we'll honour.

1. Who these terms are between

This site is operated by MasterP AI ("we", "us"), a web design studio run by Hunter Masters in Virginia, United States. By using this website or hiring us, you agree to these terms.

2. What we offer

We build custom websites. During our launch roster we offer two builds:

The $4,000 and $2,000 figures shown on our homepage are the standard rates we charge for these scopes outside the launch roster, and are the sum of the individual line items listed there. The launch-roster price is exactly half of each. They are a comparison to our own full pricing, not a claim about what any other studio would charge you.

Estimates produced by the estimator on our homepage are indicative only. They are calculated from the standard rate sheet described above and then halved. Your price is confirmed in writing before any payment is taken, and does not change afterwards.

3. The free demo

Before any money changes hands we may build you a demo using information that is already publicly available about your business. The demo is free and carries no obligation. We retain ownership of a demo unless and until you hire us, and we may take it offline at any time. If you'd like your demo removed, just ask.

4. Payment

5. Revisions and scope

Revision rounds are included as described above. A "round" means you send us your collected changes and we make them. Requests that go beyond the agreed scope — extra pages, a different concept from scratch, ongoing content updates after launch — are quoted separately, and we'll always tell you before anything is billable.

6. What we need from you

To finish on time we need reasonably prompt responses, your logo and any brand assets you have, and sign-off at each stage. If a project goes quiet for more than 30 days we may pause it; work already paid for is preserved and picked back up when you're ready.

7. Ownership

Once the project is paid in full, the finished website is yours. The design, the code, the copy and the domain all transfer to you, and you can host, edit, move or resell it however you like. Until final payment, ownership stays with us.

You keep ownership of anything you supply us — your logo, photos, text and trademarks — and by supplying it you confirm you have the right to use it. We reserve the right to display the finished site in our own portfolio and marketing unless you ask us in writing not to.

8. Third-party services

Sites we build may rely on third-party services such as hosting, domain registration, email, form handling or payment processing. Those services have their own terms and their own fees, and we aren't responsible for their availability or their pricing changes.

9. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any point before final approval. The initial payment covers the design and build work already carried out and is non-refundable once that work has begun. If we haven't started, we'll refund it in full. If we cancel a project ourselves for any reason other than non-payment or breach of these terms, we'll refund what you've paid for work not delivered.

10. Warranties and liability

We build carefully and we stand behind our work: if something we built breaks within 30 days of launch through a fault of ours, we fix it at no charge. Beyond that, the site is provided as-is. We can't guarantee particular search rankings, traffic levels, sales or business results, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the project it relates to. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

11. Acceptable use

We won't build sites for illegal activity, fraud, harassment, or content that infringes someone else's rights. We reserve the right to decline or discontinue a project on those grounds.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the date at the top will change when we do. The terms in force when you hired us are the ones that govern your project.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States.
